Blog Action Day : October 15th 2009

BLOG ACTION DAYEcoWALKtheTalk.com is participating in Blog Action Day on October 15th 2009.   Do join us and thousands of bloggers like you!

What’s the single most important challenge facing humanity? You got it!  Climate Change indeed!

And how many blogs are there in Cyberspace?  As of one estimate, Technorati tracks more than 112 million (2008) and is still counting!!

And finally, what if every single blog out there blogged on that one important topic on October 15th?  What an awesome impact that would make, sending massive ripples of awareness about Climate Change throughout Blogosphere!

This is what California based social enterprise Change.org wants to achieve through Blog Action Day on October 15th 2009.  Watch this video made by them:

About 5200 registered blogs (as of today, us included) may be a far cry from the total number of blogs in cyberspace, but with a readership of over 10 million in 126 countries, that’s still something!

Come on, what are you waiting for! If you’re a blogger (and you don’t have to be a greenie one), register at the site and type away about Climate Change from any angle that you’re passionate about – technology, society, health, politics, art, eco-action, media, design, travel or something else.  And yes, spread the word around!

See you soon on the 15th!
